Winter is fast approaching and, if you’re like me, you’re not too happy about it. I keep telling Winter not to take it personally. The change of seasons is one of the things I love best about Pennsylvania. Playing in the snow, enjoying a fire in the fireplace, sipping hot chocolate, taking long hikes in the cool air, filling up on crock pot stews…there are many things to love about winter time. But, even at the beginning of November, I find it harder to stay motivated and healthy. My garden isn’t giving me fresh vegetables anymore, the shorter days limit my outdoor time, fruits aren’t local and aren’t as tasty. I am quickly slipping into hibernating mode.

Let’s stay motivated together! Start the season with a health assessment. What new habits are waiting for you? What foods have you added to your diet? Tell me your new exercise plan. If you’re ready to start taking supplements or want to know what you need to be taking, consider MicroNutrient tesing. Ready to assess your cardiovascular risk factors? The LPP Profile will help. Join us on December 7th, and stay motivated!

Are you at risk for cardiovascular disease? Up to 50 percent of those who have suffered heart attacks had normal cholesterol numbers. How can the large discrepancy between accurate diagnosis and standard cholesterol testing be prevented? Click here to find out.

learn_moreTelomere Testing
Telomeres are sections of genetic material at the end of each chromosome whose primary function is to prevent chromosomal “fraying” when a cell replicates. As a cell ages, its telomeres become shorter. Eventually, the telomeres become too short to allow cell replication, the cell stops dividing and will ultimately die – a normal biological process. SpectraCell’s Telomere Test can determine the length of a patient’s telomeres in relation to the patient’s age. Click here to find out.

Phone Issues
Over the past couple of months we have had numerous incidents of clients attempting to contact the office only to have the phone ring endlessly. If the office is closed or we are helping another client, calls should be transfered to voice mail within a few rings. After being alerted to the problem, we contacted Verizon and were told that the error was located and the problem was fixed. It is not clear to me that this is the case.

If you attempt to call the office and voice mail does not pick up, or if you leave a message and your call is not returned by the next business day, please either send me an email (please mention when you tried to call and what problem you experienced) and/or call my cell at 484-903-8117.

I am very sorry for this problem. It is very important to me that your concerns are addressed in a timely fashion, and I appreciate your patience as we work through this problem.
